Further proof of the divine intervention we must have experienced during unemployment manifested itself today. During the past 12 months when we have been under-insured or uninsured, we did not have one single need to go to the doctor- except for immunizations for Eleanor, which you can get at the Health Center relatively inexpensively.
Not one ear infection.
Not one strep throat.
No broken bones.
Nothing.
Then today, out of the blue, just ten days after the start of new insurance, I needed to take Henry to the doctor. Not for anything serious. Just for something that the doctor needed to look at. Something that is common. Something that could have happened at any point in the last 12 months, and didn’t.
There is absolutely no way to deny that the Lord’s hand has been protecting us. That all the little angels have been working overtime to keep my children, and myself, and my husband, safe.
I do believe in miracles.
